Our Story

Initially, we started simply as a home delivery service with a fleet of bike couriers. Then with the rise of the delivery sector and e-commerce, we added the use of scooters and launched our app. The latter propelled us into becoming the first business to provide on-demand and geolocated delivery throughout French-speaking Africa. At the time, our app allowed customers to order deliveries from a variety of businesses, including pharmacies, grocery stores, and restaurants. However, very quickly, we became aware of the various challenges faced by the businesses we worked with, one of which was a persistent issue related to the lack of registered addresses.

One of the most straightforward answers for these businesses was to internalise a courier role, together with the expenses and management that came with it, without involving the driver or the courier in the process of generating value for the business. In addition, the use of informal alternatives, which offered no security guarantees, no shipping process transparency, and unsure carrier availability, was another issue they were exposed to. We then decided to reorient our market and address business-to-business (B2B) by offering them services that meet their logistical challenges.
